Peace of Mind Therapies

Massage Therapies Price List

This is my Massage Therapy price list.   You will find the full range of therapies that I offer via my online booking.

Swedish - 30 minutes

Light to medium pressure - Back, Neck & shoulders. This is a gentle and relaxing massage. If you have a lot of knots, tension etc then I recommend you book in for a deep tissue massage instead. During this treatment I warm up the muscle tissue, and use various techniques to release tension and gradually break up muscle "knots" or adhered tissues, called adhesions. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, stress relief and muscle relief among other health benefits.

Deep Tissue - 30 minutes

Pressure Rating - Firm/Deep. Back, Neck & Shoulders. A deep tissue massage focuses on reaching deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. Unlike a traditional relaxation massage, which uses lighter pressure, deep tissue massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to target areas of muscle tension and adhesions (knots). The technique helps release chronic muscle tightness, improve circulation, and alleviate pain. It's commonly used for people with muscle pain, stiffness, or injuries, as well as those with ongoing tension from stress or overuse.

Deep tissue with Cupping 35 minutes

Pressure Rating - Firm/Deep. Back, Neck & Shoulders. A deep tissue massage with cupping combines deep tissue techniques with the ancient practice of cupping therapy. In this treatment a firm, targeted pressure is used to release tension in deep muscle layers, then suction cups are used to lift the skin and fascia (connective tissue) in specific areas. The suction increases blood flow, reduces muscle tightness, and helps release knots and adhesions more effectively than massage alone. The combination can promote faster recovery, reduce inflammation, and provide relief from chronic pain and muscle tightness.

Oncology Massage - 30 minutes

Light pressure - Back, Neck & shoulders. This is a specialised massage designed specifically for individuals undergoing cancer treatment or living with cancer. It is tailored to accommodate the unique needs and challenges faced by cancer patients, such as sensitivity to pressure, compromised immune systems, and the side effects of treatments like chemotherapy or radiation. The techniques used are gentle and adjusted to the client’s condition, helping to reduce pain, fatigue, anxiety, and nausea, while promoting relaxation, emotional well-being, and a sense of comfort during a difficult time. If you're still undergoing treatment or on medication, a letter of permission from your consultant is needed beforehand.

KCR followed by deep tissue massage - 60 minutes

Why KCR and Massage Work Beautifully Together 💆‍♂️ Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) is powerful for realigning the body. It gently resets the joints, improves posture, and helps the body move back into balance. But here’s something many people don’t realise… When the body has been misaligned for a while, the muscles have adapted to that pattern. So when we realign the structure with KCR, the muscles sometimes need help letting go too. That’s where massage comes in. Massage: • Releases long-held tension • Improves circulation • Softens protective muscle guarding • Supports the nervous system to relax • Helps the body integrate the changes from KCR Think of it like this: KCR resets the framework. Massage helps the body settle into that new position. When combined, results can feel: ✔️ Deeper ✔️ Longer lasting ✔️ More comfortable Sometimes your body doesn’t just need alignment… It needs softness too. If you’ve had KCR and still feel areas of tightness or tension, massage may be the missing piece.
