Connective tissue provides support, binds together, and protects tissues and organs of the body. Connective tissue consists of three main components: cells, protein fibers, and an amorphous ground substance. It is a thick and fibrous.

Watch the following video from the creator of KCR Hugh Gilbert. He explains here about Connective tissue.

Our connective tissue can hold onto memories and emotions. An injury that you may have suffered as a child can come back many years later causing you pain and discomfort.  Your connective tissue can harden and become stuck, so by releasing your connective tissue or fascia it will become more soft and mobile and thus hopefully reducing the lack of mobility, pain and discomfort. This is body releasing 'past trauma'

This procedure can also bring about an emotional release too

Connective Tissue Release may help the following:

  • Reduce pain

  • Feel freer and lighter

  • Increase energy

  • Increase breathing capacity

  • Restore muscle function

  • Restore postural alignment

  • Promote self-healing and relaxation

  • It restores the bodies own powers by improving circulation & nervous system transmission

  • Unlock emotional releases

Normally CTR is carried out alongside KCR (Kinetic Chain Release).  Please contact me to discuss this further, or book yourself a KCR session and we can check if CTR is an option for you.
