Recently I’ve had quite a spate of last minute cancellations/no shows that I’m unable to fill at short notice.

These cancellations can have a huge impact on my wee business. Like many other businesses, I’m just trying to get back on my feet after a tough 2 years. It’s been a real battle and now with rising costs etc, this is putting extra pressure on me.

Being self employed means I don’t get paid when I’m off sick, on holiday or sitting around twiddling my thumbs when someone hasn’t shown up.

Then there’s all the extra hours I put in doing admin/website stuff. All unpaid. This is my livelihood, I love what I do, I wouldn’t want it any other way, but I do still have bills and overheads to meet. Hence why I need to have a cancellation policy in place.

I totally understand that sometimes things happen last minute so I do take personal circumstances into consideration.

So I just wanted to remind you of my cancellation & booking policy.

A small booking fee is required at the time to secure your appointment. This will be deducted from the cost of your treatment. Therapies lasting 90 minutes or more will require a 50% booking fee.

Peace of Mind Therapies does not handle this payment, it is done through a 3rd party and is entirely secure. If you are unable to pay this way then please contact me and we can arrange a cash payment instead.

**Booking fees are non-refundable but can be transferred if more than 24 hours notice is given. Less than 24 hours notice and your booking fee will be lost.

If you've paid for your treatment in full and given less than 12 hours notice or you fail to turn up then your payment will not be returned as it's impossible for me to fill your space.

If you cancel 2 appointments in a row with less than 24 hours notice then you will be required to pay for your next appointment in full rather than paying a booking fee.

If you need to change your appointment time then this can be done via our online booking, just log yourself back in and change it from there. It can only be done if there’s more than 24 hours before your appointment.

ALL appointments must be booked using the online system.
